The thought of watching a middle-aged man in lycra should not put you off going to see MAMIL: Middle-Aged Men In Lycra. Back in the 90s actor Mark Hadlow (AKA Dori from The Hobbit) tapped into our collective unconsciousness with the acclaimed one-man show SNAG. (For the uninitiated, SNAGs were sensitive new age guys – the precursors to metrosexuals.)

Now he’s teamed up with writer and fellow Cantabrian Gregory Cooper, the evil genius behind The Complete History of New Zealand (Abridged), to bring you a one-man show for the 21st century – the story of property developer Bryan Cook, a man who eats SNAGs for breakfast (or would if he could).
